Palliser Rooms / EQ3 has just launched a beautiful new Bermex dining room gallery. This new gallery at Palliser Rooms features solid wood products, made in Canada, by Bermex. Based out of Quebec, Bermex is one of North America's largest dining set manufacturers. Bermex has made a strong commitment to the environment with its tree planting initiative - for every tree that is cut down, a new one is planted. Bermex furniture is made as efficiently as possible to eliminate wasted wood. Extra wood that is cut away during the manufacturing process is recycled and used for other purposes. Bermex also strives to deliver a high quality product that will offer an optimum lifespan to the consumer, creating a heritage of protecting the environment for future generations.
In the Palliser Rooms Bermex gallery, you will find a variety of styles featuring the latest trends in dining furniture. Statement dining tables are strong in home décor for 2014. Create your look with a nod to the past using the new uniquely distressed century finish. If your style is strong and edgy, the "big top" table option with solid panel top is the perfect compliment to a contemporary interior. Customization is accessible and simple with a wide range of finish colours, apron styles, leg styles and a variety of seating options, all offered in a step by step design process. Large wall displays show the choices of colours and customization options so a clear picture of the final product is created in the showroom.
A seasoned staff of sales consultants and design professionals at Palliser Rooms are available to help clients customize a dining set that will work perfectly in the desired space and setting. By bringing in measurements, paint swatches and floor samples, the sales team can help create a layout using computer software to help show clients optimum designs for their dining furniture.
With a dining set from the Palliser Rooms Bermex gallery, you can rest assured that you will be getting a quality "Made in Canada" product, while supporting a business that values the environment.

This season will bring a contrast between soft pastels and vivid brights. Calm, tranquil blue, nostalgic purple and summer green are paired with bold hues like high pitch red, energetic orange and blazing yellow.
Here is a sneak peak at some new Palliser styles from the Runway Collection that will be featured in our showroom this spring.

The Vienna sofa is available in custom fabrics
When space is limited, it can feel like you furniture choices are too. At 73" in length, the Vienna sofa by Canadian furniture manufacturer Van Gogh Designs is a beautiful example of the perfect piece for space challenged rooms.
In a small area, your sofa will often take center stage. We suggest selecting a style with simple yet interesting lines and perhaps covering it in a solid fabric. Another decorating tip is to choose a piece with exposed legs and open space underneath which tricks the eye into perceiving more space than there really is.
Creating a room plan is key so be sure to bring along your room measurements and have a look at doorway sizes, entry areas and any other details that may pose a potential problem hindering the delivery of your furniture pieces. If you are in a condo or apartment, check the elevator and/or stairs as well for size restrictions.
